Government of BC (x4)
CHILDCARE BC
The BC government launched ChildCareBC in 2018 with the goal of making childcare more affordable, accessible and of higher quality.
With costs increasing across the board on almost everything, the BC government wants families to know that decreasing cost and increasing access to high-quality childcare is a core priority. In essence, they wanted to lighten the load for BC families.

DON’T DRIVE ANYTHING
Canadians who drive a car with weed in their system are breaking the law. But the law in BC also extends to ALL motor vehicles on the road. This idea demonstrates that no matter what type of vehicle you have, it’s still illegal to operate it with weed in your system.

GET CANNABIS CLARITY
On October 17, 2018, under federal law, non-medical cannabis was legalized. Legalization is a divisive topic and the conversation surrounding it has been polarizing. Our task wasn’t to shift perspectives, it was to educate BCers about the rules and regs surrounding the legalization and to demonstrate that the BC Government was committed to creating a responsible cannabis culture in BC.
We crafted a platform that positioned the government as the leading source on the topic, but at the same time gave equal weight to all sides of the cannabis debate.
Within the first week of the launch we had over 65, 000 visitors to the site and over 1 million video views to date.

SUPPORT BC WINE
Alberta's government decided to boycott all imports of wines from British Columbia escalating the inter-provincial spat over the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline.
In response to the boycott, we created a full page newspaper ad with the message that when you buy BC wine you’re protecting BC’s coast.
Note: Though this was the client’s (and agency’s) favourite concept, they felt it might be too risqué in nature and chose to run another one instead. Sadly, can’t win em all.
